Abba House is a
Christian church with a
ministry for women with
addiction or mental
health problems. After
an orientation period,
women who receive
ministry can bring their
young children to live
and heal with them. AH
is one of the few pro
grams where children
can join mothers as they
are receiving ministry for
addiction. On the border
of Dawson and Forsyth
counties, AH is the safe
home many women
have never had. Local
churches and companies
that partner with AH will
have collection days
where individuals can
bring food, clothing,
baby items and furniture
to help support the min
istries. Local churches
will provide vouchers
that can be redeemed at
