Abba House is a Christian
church with a ministry for
women with addiction or
mental health problems.
After an orientation period,
women who receive min
istry can bring their young
children to live and heal
with them. AH is one of
the few programs where
children can join mothers
as they are receiving min
istry for addiction. On the
border of Dawson and
Forsyth counties, AH is the
safe home many women
have never had. Local
churches and companies
that partner with AH will
have collection days
where individuals can
bring food, clothing, baby
items and furniture to help
support the ministries.

redeemed at Abba's

are food, clothing, baby
clothing, baby beds, stroll

Park at Veterans Memorial
Park beginning at 5 p.m.
Aug. 10. Activities start at 6
p.m. and the movie,
Sherlock Gnomes, starts at
dusk. Admission is free
and there will be vendors,
concessions, swimming,
games and an inflatable
