Under the leadership of Co-Presidents Jeanne Tompkins and Susan McDowell and with the vision of board member Jane Wilson, the former closet-like space was transformed over the summer into a walkable, breathable space. Local resident Gary Pichon provided the white pine shelves and Sue Poynter, who visited the space Aug. 17 for a card party, said the new shop was beautiful and that she would be swinging by for her Christmas presents in the future.
