Stacey Duncan
Stacey Duncan, 44, of
Dawsonville, died Oct. 7,
2018.
Stacey was bom Feb. 8,
1974 and had lived in
Dawson County for the
past 15 years having
moved from Gwinnett
County. She was
employed as a manager at
The Ridge in Cumming.
Stacey loved to laugh and
she loved everyone and
everyone loved her.
Survivors include her
children, Kirsten Brodnax
of Roswell, Ethan Duncan
of Dawsonville; grandchil
dren, Adelyn Robinson,
Ashton Robinson; her
companion, Perry Curl of
Dawsonville; mother,
Sharon Thomas of
Dahlonega; adoptive father
and stepmother, Harvey
and Denise Langabeer of
Lawrenceville; father,
Alvin Bloodworth of
Ac worth; several brothers
and sisters; various other
relatives also survive.
A celebration of Stacey’s
life was held at 4 p.m. Oct.
13 in the Bearden Funeral
Home Chapel with Dr. Jeff
Burrell officiating.
The family received
friends from 3 to 4 p.m.
Oct. 13 at the funeral
home.
In lieu of flowers dona
tions may be made to the
church or charity of your
choice.

James "Jimmy"
Thomas Hart
James “Jimmy” Thomas
Hart, 39, of Dawsonville,
died Oct. 12,2018.
Jimmy was the son of
Ronald “Ron” Joseph Hart
and the late Angela D.
Ward Hart. He was bom at
the 97th General Hospital
in Frankfurt, Germany on
Sept. 4, 1979.
Jimmy loved his family
and enjoyed spending time
with them. He was a lov
ing hands-on father of
three boys, always doing
boy stuff and just having
fun.
His mother, Angela D.
Ward Hart, and paternal
grandparents, Joseph H.
and Fouise D. Hart of
Rome, Ga., preceded him
in death.
Survivors include the
mother of his children,
Jennifer McDowell Hart;
children, Kirk McDowell,
Preston Hart and Trever
Hart, all of Dawsonville;
parents, Ronald J. and
Shelia Hart of Palm Coast,
Fla.; brothers, Ronald
Joseph (Joe) and Nicole
Hart of Dawsonville,
Nicholas and Anne
Higgins of Bonaire, Kyle
and Kaitlyn Higgins of
Palm Coast, Fla.; maternal
grandparents, James and
Audrey Ward; numerous
aunts, uncles, cousins,
nieces and nephews; vari
ous other relatives also sur
vive.
A memorial service will
be held at 11 a.m. Oct. 17
in the Bearden Funeral
Home Chapel.
The family received
friends from 5 to 8 p.m.
Oct. 16 at the funeral
home.
In lieu of flowers the
family asks that donations
be made in Jimmy’s name
to the National Alliance on
Mental Illness (NAMI)
Northside Atlanta.

Sue Ingram Magnus
Sue Ingram Magnus, 77,
of Cumming, died Oct. 11,
2018.
She was a resident of the
Wildwood Nursing Facility
for over four years. She
was a member of Concord
Baptist Church.
Her parents, Fee and
Pearl Garret Ingram; sis
ters, Bea Ingram, Inez
Garrett, Clara Cole, Mae
Ingram, Alpha Hatton;
brothers, Joseph Ingram
and Elson Ingram, preced
ed her in death.
Survivors include her
husband, Billy Magnus;
son and daughter-in-law,
Billy and Julie Magnus;
daughter, Misty Wilson;
grandchildren, Cody,
Caitlin, Grayce, Brianna
and Christina; and special,
great-grandchild, Waylon;
sisters-in-law, Bertha
Skinner, Betty Morabito; a
number of nieces and
nephews; various other rel
atives also survive.
No service is scheduled
at this time.

Mary Elizabeth
Thomason Seitz, 86, of
Dahlonega, died Oct. 10,
2018.
Born and raised in
Clermont, Mary lived most
of her life in Forsyth
County until moving to
Dahlonega in 2005. She
was a member of Pleasant
View Baptist Church in
Cumming and was a lov
ing and devoted wife,
mother and grandmother.
Her husband, F.D. Seitz;
parents, Charley and Idell
Thomason; brothers,
Harold Thomason, Charles
Thomason; sisters, Eris
Thomason, Martha Ann
Wylie, preceded her in
death.
Survivors include her
sons and daughter-in-law,
Tommy Seitz of
Dahlonega, Robby and
Michelle Seitz of
Cumming; daughters and
sons-in-law, Becky and
Roger Townley of
Cumming, Finda and
Norris Hughes of
Dawsonville, Vanessa and
Famar Day of
Dawsonville; 11 grandchil
dren; 13 great-grandchil
dren; a number of nieces
and nephews; various other
relatives also survive.
Funeral services were
held at 3 p.m. Oct. 14 in
the Bearden Funeral Home

Joe Quarles
Joe Quarles, 72, of
Dawsonville, died Oct. 13,
2018.
Born May 6, 1946 and
raised in Ellijay, Mr.
Quarles had been a resident
of Dawson County for most
of his life.
His parents, Curtis and
Helen Quarles; brother,
James Quarles; and sister,
Gloria Chester, preceded
him in death.
Survivors include his son,
J.F. Quarles of Oakwood;
stepsons, Mike Eddings,
Barry and Fisa Miller, all of
Clarkesville; brothers and
sister-in-law, Forrest
Quarles, W.C. and Vickie
Quarles, all of Dawsonville;
a number of nieces and
nephews; various other rel
atives also survive.
Funeral services were
held at 1 p.m. Oct. 16 in the
Bearden Funeral Home
Chapel with Rev. Ronnie
Sosebee officiating.
Interment followed at 3
p.m. at Tails Creek Baptist
Church Cemetery in Ellijay.
The family received
friends from 11 a.m. until
the service hour Oct. 16.

Billy A. Wise
Billy A. Wise, 75, of
Dawsonville, died Oct. 8,
2018.
Bom March 29, 1943 in
Hemingway, S.C. to the
late James Thomas and
Anna Ruth Wise, he lived
in Fumpkin County for the
past 5 years having moved
from Garden City, S.C.
Mr. Wise owned and
operated BW&Me for over
40 years until his retire
ment. He possessed a deep
love for Jesus and was a
very devoted Christian
family man. He also
enjoyed western movies
and ice cream and was a
member of the First
Baptist Church of
Dawsonville.
A sister, Margaret Elaine
Wise Teal, and a brother,
James Thomas Wise Jr.,
preceded him in death.
Survivors include his
wife of 53 years, Nancy J.
Wise of Dawsonville;
daughters and sons-in-law,
Fynn and Scott McEver of
Dawsonville, Christy and
Tommy Fewis Jr. of
Sumter, S.C., Fezlee
