Joshua C. “Josh”
Jones, 36, of
Dawsonville, died Oct.
27, 2018.
Josh was born May 7,
1982 and was a lifelong
resident of Dawson
County.
Survivors include the
mother of his sons,
Jennifer Nicole Ross;
sons, Aiden Jones,
Xander Jones; parents, J.
C. and Nora Jones;
brother, Matthew Jones;
and his fiancee, Mary
Anne Watson, all of
Dawsonville.
A celebration of Josh’s
life was held at 4 p.m.
Nov. 2 in the Bearden
Funeral Home Chapel
with Rev. Mike Owens
officiating.
The family received
friends from 2 p.m. until
the service time Nov. 2.
In lieu of flowers
donations may be made
to the funeral home to
assist with final expens
es.

Tamara Ailene Myers
Tamara Ailene Myers,
46, of Dawsonville, died
Nov. 2, 2018.
She was born in 1972
to the late Bobby and
Jerry Myers. Tamara was
always the one who liked
lightening things up
when she walked into
an event “fashionably
late.” She took life head
on and had a blast
doing so. She was the
most beautiful, giving
and genuinely kind per
son to all that met her.
Anyone that knew her
was blessed to have her
in their lives. To know
Tamara Myers was to
love her.
Her parents and her
fur baby, Jasper, pre
ceded her in death.
Survivors include her
siblings, Melvin (Kim)
Myers, Clete Myers,
Steve Sweatman and
Peggy Powell, Matt
(Shellie) Myers, Bobby
(Lisa) Myers and Dana
(Jamie) Corr; aunt,
Brenda Wilson; 16
nieces and nephews;
eight great-nieces and
nephews; and her misfit
family, Vicki Kennedy,
Doug Bridwell, Jordan
Hurt, Kevin and Carey
Rodinson; various other
relatives also survive.
A celebration of life
will be held from 3 to 6
p.m. Nov. 10 at 2164
Nix Bridge Road,
Dawsonville, Ga.,
30534.
In lieu of flowers, the
family requests that
donations be made to
the family to help offset
expenses.

Local doctor 'saves the day' as Superman
For the Dawson County News
Dr. Louis Belinfante of the Dawsonville branch of Atlanta Oral and Facial Surgery celebrated
Halloween last week as per tradition by dressing up as Superman to tend to his patients. This year
marks Belinfante's last year in the practice after practicing for more than 40 years.

Donna Faye Coleman, 75, of Gainesville passed away on
Monday, October 22, 2018 at her residence.
Bom on January 19, 1943 in Chattanooga, TN she was
the daughter of the late Donald Ray and Geneva Toth
Holland. She was a loving and devoted mother and
grandmother as well as a loyal friend. Donna was loved
by all who knew her. She will be greatly missed.
Donna lived in the Atlanta area with her family from
1964-1998 when she moved to Big Canoe. She has
lived in Gainesville for the last 5 years. Donna loved her
family, pets, books, movies, trivia, country music, the
Atlanta Braves and Falcons, as well as SEC Football.
A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday,
November 3, 2018 in the Chapel of Memorial Park
Funeral Home with Dale Geddings officiating. The family
will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, from
2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m.
Mrs. Coleman is survived by her son and daughter in
law, Stephen Tyler Coleman and Malissa Geddings
Coleman of Dawsonville; daughter and son in law,
Cynthia Coleman Williams and Henry Phillip Williams
of Spring Valley, OH; 4 grandchildren: grandson, Jacob
Tyler Coleman of Atlanta, granddaughter, Macayla
Anne Coleman of Gainesville, grandson, Ryan Matthew
Williams, and grandson, Patrick Cole Williams; 2
brothers: Richard Michael Holland of Lithia Springs
and Larry Don Holland of Conyers. She is also survived
by her former husband and children’s father, William
Wesley Coleman of Hilton Head, SC.
