For the Dawson County News
The Rotary Club of Dawson County worked hard during the month of
September to collect peanut butter and donations for Backpack Buddies, an
organization that on a regular basis provides a discreet backpack full of non-
perishable food items to students in need in Dawson County. On Oct. 4 the
club presented Backpack Buddies with a check for $1,600.The money the club
donated should be able to keep the program fully funded for six months.
