U.S.C. Section 5311 of
the Federal Transit Act
pertaining to rural areas.
The Dawson County
Board of Commissioners
will offer general public
transportation to all
citizens of Dawson County
for any worthwhile
purpose, including but
not limited to shopping,
medical treatment,
social services and other
purposes.
The Dawson County Board
of Commissioners solicits
private sector input and
participation to assure
that private for-profit
transportation operators
have a fair and timely
opportunity to participate
in the development of this
program.
The Dawson County Board
of Commissioners also
solicits comments and
concerns from the general
population on local rural
public transportation
services.

concerns from the elderly,
low-income and disabled
population and their
representatives to assure
that issues relating to the
disabled are addressed
in the service design

treated wastewater to a
Land Treatment Site in the
State of Georgia
The Georgia Environmental
Protection Division has
received a new application
for the reissuance of
an existing LAS permit.
Having reviewed
such application, the
Environmental Protection
Division proposes to issue
for a maximum term of
five years the following
permit subject to specific
pollutant limitations and
special conditions:
Chestatee Development,
Inc., 777 Dogwood Way,
Dawsonville, Georgia,
30534, LAS Permit No.
GAJ020192, for the Water
Pollution Control Plant
located at Dogwood
Way, Dawsonville,
Georgia 30534. Up to
0.075 MGD of treated
wastewater is distributed
to reuse customers in
Dawson County in the
Chattahoochee River
Basin. The draft permit
also includes effluent
limitations and monitoring
requirements for an
expanded flow of 0.15
MGD.
Persons wishing to
comment upon or
object to the proposed
determinations are
invited to submit same
in writing to the EPD
