Green Day
Parade, music and merriment on tap for St. Patricks Day
Not only are there plenty of places to
drink and make merry on St. Patricks Day in
Atlanta, the city also boasts one of the oldest
parades in the country. Put on your green and
head out to one of these festive events.
LEPRE*CON
Presented by A Social Mess on Saturday,
March 10, revelers are encouraged to put on
their most outrageous green attire enjoy a
booze-filled day at Park Tavern in Piedmont
Park. Beginning at 2 p.m., patrons can also
rock the day away to live music and DJ
performances and can nosh on local favorites
including burgers, bowls, tacos, salads,
sandwiches, fresh sushi and more. For tickets

ATLANTA ST. PATRICK'S DAY PARADE
One of the oldest in the U.S. and the longest
running event in Atlanta’s history, the 136th
annual parade returns to Peachtree Street in
Midtown on Saturday, March 17, at noon.
The parade features dancers, musicians,
cheerleaders, clowns, marching bands and
Irish and local dignitaries. The parade will step
off at noon at 15 th Street and make its way
to 5th Street — rain or shine. For more details,

FADO IRISH PUB
The Buckhead pub will hold its annual St.
Patrick’s Day Block Party on March 10 and
17. Fado will close down Buckhead Avenue
for live music and events, while the pub
offers a full brunch menu and traditional
Irish fare. The outdoor party includes a
full line-up of live music, Irish dancers and
bagpipers, a food tent and multiple beer

GREEN MILE BLOCK PARTY
The annual event will be held March 16 at
7 p.m. in Midtown with participating bars
offering drink specials, Irish-themed good,

Over in Virginia-Highland, the annual
Kegs & Eggs will be held March 17
starting at 10 a.m. with brunch and drinks
