Says Only Brain Power Limits Resources NORTH EASTON, Mass., (NC) —The “critical limiting factor on the world’s resources” is not ma terials, energy or food, but “brain power,” the chairman of the board of the Radio Corpora tion of America said here. Frank M. Folsom made this statement in urging graduates of Stonebill Colege here to develop “creative thinking.” Mr. Folsom received an hon orary doctorate of laws from the college, which is conducted by the Holy Cross Fathers. Others receiving honorary doctorates of laws were His Eminence Francis Cardinal Spellman, Archbishop of New York; John M. Curley, president of the Eastern Stain less Steel Company, and Father George P. Benaglia, C.S.C., president of King’s Colege, Wilkes-Barre, Pa. Mr. Folsom urged, the gradu ates to “hold sacred the spiritual values of life. Neither forsake the precepts of charity, justice and freedom, nor be misled by a desire for material things.” “Let our great purpose be peace on earth, good will toward men,” he said. “That must be our victory — a victory shared by mankind. A man’s batting average is high if he has accomplished half the things he intended to do. The only good feature about a budget is that it allows you to worry before you. spend — not afterwards.
