placed sixty-one Catholic orphan and
dependent children in Catholic homes
in 1933, according to the report just
issued. Since 1915 the Illinois K. of C.
have found homes for 1,953 such chil
dren, of whom 1,303 have been adopt
ed by their foster-parents.

FATHER JOSEPH P. HURLEY of
Cleveland has been made a Domestic

script of Mark Twain’s “Huckleberry

tower” programs.
FATHER COUGHLIN ended his ra
dio series for the season with his
April 15 broadcast. He plans to re
sume them in the fall, if he finds it
possible.
JOSEPH SCOTT, K. S. G., of Los
Angles, has been named president of
the Los Angeles Community Welfare
Federation for the fourth consecutive
time. The Federation operates the
Community Chest.

TWIN PRIESTS of the Archdiocese

in Canada and the United States who
left the Church, has been ordered to
stand trial in Canada for “vulgar and
indecent expressions constituting in
the law a defamatory libeL”
