will be celebrated in St. Joseph's
Church by the Reverend Peter J Mc

The commencement exercises will
mark the close of the sixty-third
scholastic year of Mt. de Sales Acad
emy, which today is the onlv Cath
olic boarding school for girls' in the
State of Georgia.

cational chairman, read an article en
titled “Our President’s Message.”
Under the direction of Mrs- Sturck
en the Mother-Singers rendered a mu
sical program.

Supply Company, has been named
President of the Associated Retail
Credit Managers of Savannah.
Mr. Mulherin. a native of Au
gusta, has made his home in Savan
nah for some years.
AUGUSTA, Ga.—Private funeral
services for Mrs. Mary Brislan O’Con
nor, who died May I. were held from
the Sacred Heart Church, the Rev.
J. E. O Donohoe, S. J.. officiating.
Mrs. O'Connor had been in declin- '■
ing health since the death of her hus
band, the late Daniel Francis O'Con
nor, several years ago. She was a .
native of Augusta, the daughter of
John Brislan and Mrs. Kathen
Darcy Brislan, and had lived here
of her life. She was a sister of tu.
late Rev. John Darcy BrIslari>S. J.;
pastor of St. Ann's Church. West
Palm Beach, at the time of his death
some years ago.
She is survived by a son. John Bris
lan O Connor, of New York; three
daughters. Miss Genevieve O'Connor,
Katherine O'Connor, of Augusta,
and Mrs. Russell Crohen, of
land; two grandchildren, Carey B*
O Connor, and Sansarita O'Connor,
of New York; and a nephew, George
Revel, of Charleston.

DIES IN BROOKLYN
SAVANNAH, Ga. — Funeral ser-
v.ces for Mrs. Julia Wilkelmess. who
died April 20, while visiting a sister
in Brooklyn, were held from the Ca-
ttiedra 1 of St. John the Baptist, the
Right Rev. Monsignor T. James Mc-
Namara, rector, officiating.
