TE DEUM LAUDAMUS!
“We adore Thee! We bless Thee!
We glorify Thee, O Eternal Father,
God of Mercy and of all Consola
tion because Thou hast hearkened
to the prayers of Thy people.
"Out of the depths we have cried
to Thee for long and now Thou
hast heard our prayer. Grant, O
Merciful Father, that the ending of
the war in Europe is but the
pledge of the early cessation of
conflict in Ihe East.
“ 'Blessed art Thou. O Lord, the
God of Israel, our Father from
eternity to eternity. Thine, O Lord,
is magnificence and power, and
glory and victory; and to Thee is
praise. For all that is in heaven,
and in earth, Ls Thine. Thine is the
kingdom, O Lord, and Thou art
above all princes.
‘Thine are riches, and Thine is
glory. Thou hast dominion over
all. In Thy hand is power and
might; in Tliy hand greatness, and
the empire of all tilings.
“ Nov;, therefore, our God, we
give thanks to Thee, and we praise
Thy glorious name.' ” <1 Par.
