Minstrel-Reoue Presented in Macon by
St. Joseph s Parish Dramatic Club

MACON, Ga. — Members of the
St Joseph’s Dramatic club, teen
age and post high school groups
presented their annual minstrel
and revue at St. Joseph's Hall on
June 17, before a large ahd en
thusiastic audience.
Among the soloists who were
featured in the performance were
Miss Elizabeth Pittman, Miss
Alice Sheridan, Miss Mary An
toinette Giglio, Miss Sadie Deep.
Miss Mona McGoldrick. Miss Te
resa McCreary, Miss Patricia Don
nelly, Charles Pritchard, William
Blanton, and Ed Huthnance.
The comedians were Bill Blan
ton. Bob Cook. Dan Harris, Tom
my Shaheen. Walter Wilson and
Misses Mary Astumian, Gilda Best,
Sadie Deep, Marietta McCowen
and Aliee Seridan, Val Sheridan
was the interlocutor.
Olio numbers included a comedy
singing and dancing, sketch pre
sented by a cast which included
Miss Beverly Jeanne Terry and
Billie Joanis.
Fay and Zoe Cotton, youthful
dancers, delighted with a dark-
town dance, and Dennis Cassidy
offered a blackface monolog.

eral direction of William H. Mitch
ell and Val Sheridan.
Make-up artists were Mrs. Edna
Sheridan, and Miss Frances Weisz.
Scenery was by George Wood and
Miss Teresa Bell, and costumes by
Mrs. J. E. Richardson, Mrs- J. P.
McGoldrick, Mrs. J. P. Haffey.

MACON, Ga.—"Family Tree,’’ a
comedy in three acts, was present
ed at Mount de Sales Academy by
a east selected from this year’s
senior class at matinee and eve
ning performances.
The east included Misses Mary
Antoinette Giglio, Teresa Mc
Creary, Eleanor Barshaw, Peggy
Brady, Elizabeth Bittman, Nancy
Swearingen, Lucile Dannenberg,
Elizabeth isaf, , Jeanne Sheridan,
Ann Graham and Joyce Johnson.
Between the acts, vocal selec
tions were offered by Miss Patricia
Downing and the Giannatassio
brothers.

June meeting of the directors of
the Citizens and Southern. Nat
ional Bank in Augusta; announce
ment was made by James Said or,
vice-president, of the jromotion
of J. P. Price, assistant cashier,
to the post of assistant vice-presi
dent,
Mr. Price was born in Lexing
ton County, South Carolina, but
has made his home in Augusta
since lie was 16 years old. lie has
been connected with the Citizens
and Southern National Bank since
1923, and has been assistant
cashier for the last seven years.
A member of the Sacred Heart
parish, he is a past grand knight
of Patrick Walsh Council. Knights
of Columbus, Mr. Price is now
serving a second term as district
deputy of tile Georgia State Coun
cil, K. of C. He is a member of
the Augusta Lions Club, and a
past president of the Augusta Re
tail Credit Association.
Mr. Price is married to the
former Miss Lillian Morgan, and
they have two children, lie is a
brother of Brother Thomas Price,
S- M., a member of the faculty
of Dayton University. i
