plenty to interest them for about
an hour, inspecting the latest
types of fire fighting equipment,
sliding down the poles, and if not
getting the thrill of seeing the
apparatus “roll’ 'in answer to an
alarm, at least to have the excite-
'hient of seeing the firemen alert
ed when the noon hour test gong
sounded.
After enjoying lunch at the
Catholic Community Cetner, the
boys were guests of Troy Agnew, *
owner of the Augusta Baseball
Club, at a double-header played
at the Municipal Stadium between
the Augusta and Savannah teams
of the South Atlantic League.
Before returning to Washington,
the boys had supper at the Cath
olic Community Center, and each
lad received a package of candy
and one of chewing gum as he was
ready to board the bus..

to Augusta and to entertain them
while here were made by a com
mittee of members of Patrick
