PENT HOUSE CONVENT—Something new in convents is this
Pent House atop the new parish school of the Sacred Heart Church,
Pittsburgh. Comprising fifty rooms, thirty-six of them single
sleeping rooms, the Pent House is 65 feet above the ground, with
a promenade 250 feet long and a covered porch. Built for perfect
privacy and health, it is said to be the only Pent House Convent

DIES IN FLORENCE
GEORGETOWN, S. C.—Funeral
services for Mrs. Leila Poston
Jacbbs, who died in Florence Au
gust 27, were held at St. Mary's
Church here, Father Fred H. Suggs
officiating.
Mrs. Jacobs, the widow of the
late Captain Homer Jacobs, is sur
vived by a son, Alden J. Jacobs,
of Georgetown; a stepson, Ramony
Jacobs, Natchez, Miss.; a sister,
Aflrs. W. H. Dowdy, of Poston, and
lwo grandchildren.
