the mid-winter season was the
dance given by the Sodalists of

Cathedral of St. John the Baptist,
and the officers of the Sacred
Heart Sodality, the Blessed Sacra
ment Sodality, St. Mary’s Sodality
and the Sodality of Our Lady of
Lourdes, in Port Wentworth.
The grand march was led by
Miss Georgia Spellman, prefect
of the St. Vincent Sodality, with
John Kelly, as her partner. Win
ners in the prize waltz contest
were Miss Rose Marie Nueslein

St. Patrick’s Day Party
(Special to The Bulletin)
ALBANY, Ga.—The Catholic
Young People’s Association is pre
paring to make its second annual
St. Patrick’s Day banquet an even
more elaborate affair than the
most successful event last year.
Distinguished speakers have
been invited to speak at the ban
quet, which will be held at the
Radium Springs Club, and it is
anticipated that three hundred
guests will attend. With the assist
ance of members of the choir of
St- Theresa’s Church, under the
direction of Mrs. Robert E. Mc
Cormack, with Mrs. O. T. Kenan,
as accompanist, the C. Y. P. A.
will present a playlet suitable to
the occasion at the St. Patrick’s
Day gathering.
The choir, which now numbers
twenty gifted vocalists, was highly
complimented for the excellence
of its music at the services during
the recent Forty Hours Devotion,
and was entertained at a dinner at
the Gordo:; Hotel ca the evening
of January 31.
