CONVENTION DELEGATES ENJOY SEAFOOD SUPPER — In picturesque surroundings at Oak
Bluff, beneall* towering, moss-draped, oaks, the delegates to the Catholic Laymen’s Association of
Georgia’s convention in Brunswick, were pictured as they were partaking of cne of the seafood
suppers for which Glynn County is famed. Shrimp, fish and “hush-puppies,’ 'in ample quantity, were
cooked over fires of charcoal and oak embers fcy expert chefs.

An Active Group

ALBANY, Ga.—Menioers of the
Cqthoiic Young People's Associa
tion in’ Albany are delighted that
their friend and benefactor, Fred
Wiggins, has been named presi
dent of the Catholic Laymen’s As
sociation of Georgia, and have
pledged him their individual arid
collective support in carrying on
the work of the association.
The CYPA conducts a nursery
each Sunday morning at St. The
resa’s Church, caring for children
under five years of age while
their parents attend Mass. This
service is greatly appi-ecialed by
the parents among the military
personnel attached to Turner
Field.
Officers of the CYPA are Ray S.

Mlnden. vice president; Miss Mil
dred Yongue, secretary, and Asa
Kelley, treasurer.

MEETS EACH MONTH
ALBANY. Ga.—The Holy Name
Society of St. Theresa'S parish
holds regular monthly meetings,
religious discussions, followed by
social periods.

GREENVILLE. S. C.—Under the

gi'ade presented a dramatization
of “The Street of the Tentmak-
ers” at the October meeting of
the Parent-Teacher Association of
St. Mary’s School.
