(u Southern Custom o)
INCE time began, the honored custom of
celebrating good news with friends has
been enjoyed.
Weddings, christenings, a new job, or on old
job well done ... all these and many other happy
occasions deserve recognition.
Since recognition means hospitality . . . food
and drink for and with friends . . . it's an age-old
custom that become "an old southern custom."
We, the members a# the Georgia Distilled
Spirits Institute, citizens and taxpayers, appreciate
these customs, but in the continuance of this de
lightful tradition, recommend that the spirit of
moderation be invited to join the party.
Celebration in moderation does not offend.
Moderation in aU things, eating, drinking, work
ing, playing ... is our motto.
We soy: "Let's be moderate."
