By Way of Explanation In some unaccountable way, the top line of the heading of a story on Page twenty-three of this issue of The Bulletin got itself lost strayed or stolen, and was not located until after the page-form had been matted and the type thrown away. The missing line of type reads: “PASTOR OF ST. Hyland, D. D., J. C. D., Auxiliary Bishop of Sa- vannah-Atlanta, administered the Sacrament of Confirmation on May 27 at St. Michael’s Church in Gainesville. Bishop Hyland was assisted in the administration of Confirma tion by Father Michael Manning, pastor of St. Michael’s Church; Father Felix Donnelly, of Wash ington; Father Walter Donovan and Father Francis X. Clougherty, O. S. B., of Athens; Father Gerard Hageman, S. M„ and Father Joseph McManus, S. M., of Atlan ta, and Father Michael Regan, of Savannah. The class confirmed included John J. Keane, Charles Edmond son, Mary Ellen Keane, Constance Keane, Barbara Thornhill, Kay Roper, Elizabeth Anne McKiernan, Mrs. Frank Martin, Mrs. Armand LaBranche, Miss Mary Curtiss Whitmire, Robert Alvin Dills and Harold H. McNair. Following the services at the church, Bishop Hyland and the assisting clergy were guests of Mrs. William Faw at a dinner at the Dixie Hunt Hotel. C., with some 40,000 other school patrolmen from all over the United States.
