‘"Certainly I didn’t mind giving
blood—I hardly felt it. But the
big thing is I know I’ve done
something unselfish — I’ve
helped a wounded fighting man.
Maybe I’ve saved his life. You’ll
never know what a thrill it is—
until you give so that a man
may live ”

IT ADVERTISES RELIGION
A sign that is unique and original in that it advertises religion rather
than goods or services is this one on a main road leading into Greens-
burg Pa. Forty feet long and eight feet high, it has letters five feet
high : “Learn About the Catholic Faith.” To Mr. Wilfred S. McKeon.
Greensburg industrialist, this is his third venture m “billboard apos-
tolicity.” He hopes that others will “go and do likewise,” since Cath
olics have the most important “product” in the world, and should
spend more time and energy selling it. (NC Photos)
