Catholic Women Meet ATLANTA, Ga. — The beauti ful home of Miss Simon Bour- delais on Northside Drive was the seting for the August picnic of the Catholic Club of Business and Profesional Women on Saturday evening, August 13th. Dinner was served on the ter race and a large group of the members and guests enjoyed this last outdoor meeting of the summer. Efforts are being made, to en list new members for attendance at the regular supper meeting to be held at the Sacred Heart Cafeteria in September New comers and business women in the Atlanta area are invited to become associated with this Catholic group of women. Mock Dies; Rites Held At Albany Aug. 31 Mrs. J. W. Mock Sr., died sud denly at her residence. She had been a resident of Alba ny for the last 63 years. Mrs. Mock, tt\e former Miss Helen Whire, was born March 9, 1890, in Rome. Her parents were the late Mary Ryan Whire and John Whire of Rome. Survivors include her husband a Justice of the Peace; two daughters, Mrs. J. B. Charles Jr. of Tampa, Fla., Mrs. I. H. Mc- Grady Jr., of Birmingham; three sons, Gfene, Billy and Ryan Mock, all of Albany; three_sis ters, Mrs. L. R. Gailmart of Tampa, Mrs. C. W. Scribner of Norfolk, Va.; Mrs. T. N. Curtis Jr., of Atlanta; two brothers, Frank Whire and Ryan Whire, both of Atlanta; and 12 grand children.
