GAINESVILLE — The Holy
Name Society of St, Michael’s
Church held its regular
monthly meeting early in Janua
ry. The meeting was held at
the Smith House In Dahlonega,
Georgia. After the dinner meet
ing, the members were escorted
through the Pine Tree Corpora
tion as the guests of that Corpo
ration.
At. 7:00 p. m. the members met
at St. Michael’s Church and from
there travelled to the Smith
House. A delicious ‘country-style’
supper was enjoyed by the mem
bers. After supper a short busi
ness meeting was held. The fol
lowing representatives of the Pine
Tree Corporation were guests at
the meeting: Mr. Jack Darlington,
Plant Manager, Mr Charles Wor
ley and Mr. Edward Greene.
Following the meeting the
members were accompanied by
the plant representatives to Pine
Tree Corporation. Plant opera
tions were first explained b y
means of slides which was fol
lowed by a trip through the plant
where the members witnessed the
making of wool and synthetic
yarns for use in ‘Lees’ carpets
and rugs.

Survivors are a daughter, Mrs.
J. G. Nueslein; a son, William J.
Frain Jr.; three grandchildren
and two great-grandchildren.

were held January 5th at St.
Francis Church, Cartersville, Rev.

Survivors are two sisters, Mrs.
J. H. Terrell, and Mrs. Mary P.
Bradley, both of Adairsville; two
brothers, Joseph M. Pavlovski of
Atlanta; M-Sgt. Leo Pavlovski,
Anchorage, Alaska.
