Be ready to respond when duty calls
For you to frequent justice’s halls;
And when you sit on the Bench Supreme
Ever let justice be your theme.
Live not in idleness and sloth
For ye know not what a day may bring forth;
But be up and doing what you should do,
To man be faithful, to yourselves be true,
So when you are laid ’neath the sod
You will be prepared to meet your God.
