A great man is fallen in Israel and risen in heaven. Bereaved and Sorrowful, R. Anna. Phillips. 1 Butler, Ga., March 1895. ’ Elder Lee Hanks; Dear Brother ’ in the Lord. As I have to make ? a remittance to the Banner, I de -1 sire to write a few words to those brethren and sisters, whom I r met while oil my recent tour through the Harmony Association. JI had intended to stop at the church at Louisville in our own ; I Association, and had promised the i brethren there, that I would be . there on Thursday on my way to . Fellowship also in our bounds, but Wednesday being the day that I was to leave home, and it being so very rainy, and having to go fifteen miles to the railroad, I could not start till Thursday, throwing me one day behind. However Ido not suppose that the brethren was looking for me much, as Thursday was also a very cold day. But I desire to visit them sometime in the future if it is th? Lord’s wi|l. My next appointment atFellowship as stated above, w r as Saturday and second Sunday in January, which was their regular meeting tim?. It was extreemly cold and I did not meet many, though I feel to believe that the Lord was with us there. This church is in a :cold condition. Here I met for the first time Eld H. B Bland, who also was their pastor, whose com pany I enjoyed very much, j hope it may be my privilege to meet him again. I did not start to give an account of my trip, and will only say that although the weather was bad, most of the time I felt like the Lord was with me, and while I had some very dark seasons, I felt to be repaid for all. for one short hour of the glory of iilimr'iiii iijL, JlUuii Li up lifetime of darkness. It is very fatigue!ng to me to travel, but ex cept two or three days I eajoyed my usual health, and while space for bids mentioning all the dear brethren and sisters and friends that I met I still remember, them and teel that I would be verv un grateful indeed if I did not appreci ate and thank them for the many Acts of kindness shown to me while among them, and hope they may remember me a poor unworthy \cteature, and if a child of God one of the most unworthy. AV ould be glad to hear from any of them at any time. Brother Hanks we miss you vi ry much and as I have remarked to sister Lucy several times that we did not see you often when you ' lived at Ozark, still, it seems now ' that we are lonely without you. Hope you and family are well and that you will remember .us. 1 am ’ yours unworthily. Z. T. Marsh. Bertha, Ala. Feb.24th. 1895. I hold you all in grateful remem berance. my brother. H. OXYDONOR.
