one.
My 1,6, 5,2 is a girl’s name —not very com
mon.
My 5,4, 1,6 is an adjective, signifying a quali
ty desirable in a pet squirrel or deer.
My 5,2, 3is a verb signifying the process which
hides undergo to make leather.
My whole is an aquatic animal, not much known
or often seen, (one was displayed recently in Jack
sonville, Fla.,) and the name of a river in Florida.
