IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT.
Every Subscriber Please Read This.
A recent ruling of the Post
office Department at Washing¬
ton, requires every publisher of
a weekly paper to pay transient
postage rates on all papers not
renewed after one year from the
time the subscription expires.
In other words we can not send
papers to any one who owes
for more than one year, unless
said subscription be renewed,
without having to pay transient
rates of postage, which would be
out of the question. We have
many subscribers that we are
perfectly willing to credit but,
this ruling puts it up to us to do
something. Now we ask all sub¬
scribers who are in arrears to
come forward and settle either
by cash or note and renew.
Please attend to this matter at
your earliest convenience.
Yours truly,
Tabor & Ellington
