Collins, State Superin tendent of Schools, will give an ad dress on “Equalization of Educa tional Opportunity,” J. L Allman will speak on National Youth Ad ministration, Dr. S. V. Sanford, Chancellor of the University Sys tem of Georgia, will discuss the 15- Mill Tax Limitation and Dr. Thom as Alexander, president of New Col lege. Columbia University, will give an address on “Fundamentals of the New Curriculum.” Alpha Psi Holds Fhst Meeting October 6 The Alpha Psi Home Economic Club under the facility supervision of Miss Ruby Jenkins head of the Home Economics Department, held its first meeting in the Log Cabin October 6. Among other business matters, the new officers were sworn in. To serve this year are: president, Dorothy Dos ter. vice-president, Lillian King, secretary, Winnette White; and treasurer, Claire Mc- Larty. The dues for the year which will include the social activities of the club were announced as two dol lars. / According to the announce ments, a definite program is be ing setup, and also plans for the initiation of new members are be ing considered.
