GENPEN Issued

the Press Foruri, has been re

President of the club. The GEN
PEN was put "on the streets”
Tuesday in assembly after months
of diligent preparation.
The principal co-ordinator of
its excellent consent was Miss
Mabel Koontz, faculty-advisor of
the Press Forum. Much pain was
taken in perfecting its make-up
by the typing classes of Miss Eu
nice Chute. Because of their time
consuming attention to minutiae,
the GENPEN assumes an espec
ially clean and pleasant appear
ance. Special recognition is ex
tended to Sara Putnam, whose
skill was responsible for the very
appropriate illustrations used.
The staff of the GENPEN de
serves much credit for this pro
duction. Its members are Evelyn
Kidd, Editor; Qtrolyn Chism,
Associate Editor, Sara Putnam,
Art Editor; Ferol Bozeman, Fea
ture Editor; Bobbie Cobb, Laura
Waldrop, Proofreaders; Miss
Koontz, Advisor.

Brown, W. M. Bussey, Phyllis

had a nice response from the two
groups.
After having a picnic lunch at
Grant Park and ready for singing
again, they continued to College
Park where they had the plea
sure of hearing the choir there
sing several numbers.
At the conclusion of the choir
numbers, the group was invited
to the cafeteria for 'the pause
that refreshes’ and cookies. This

//enr and tl\e minutes of the Zeta
Sigma Pi, kept by Carolyn Ohism
are proof enough that it has been
one of the most active clubs on
the campus this year. The co

ing interesting programs planned
for each meeting. Also, she was
responsible for assigning the
news casts deliverd at chapel.
The newscast given in chapel
was sponsored by the Zeta

of the club members will be kept
