All the boys join me in wishing
Dr. Clark a fond goodbye. He
has helped each one to realize the
need for physical fitness, and the
value of athletics. We will miss
Dr. Clark next year and realize
that no one can fill his shoes as
well as he has done. So from all
the boys we will say, "Good luck,
Coach” . . . Congrats to the ten
nis champs. . . to the winners of
the track meet ... to the all-star
softball team . . . What happen
ed to Greyhound Estes on track
days? . . . The 400 was won by
Counts, but you can’t say we did
n’t warn you "Buck” . . Hurrah
for the Vets! They beat B Bar
racks anyway .... Why hasn’t
Oliver appeared in the pitching
block lately? . . . Rumors have
it that "Buck” Hollingsworth is
going to be tract instructor next
year. How about it, "Buck”? . .
Bet Tommy Price wishes he was
back doing P. E. now. Oh! these
cold winter nights in Alaska . . .
So Byars is a track man too? The
things the Navy does to these
Darlington boys . . . Who saw
Mr. Speer playing tennis? He
runs some also . . . Rogers isn’t
as old as he seems. He can still
make it to the track meets—to
watch of course . . .Joe Rives is
the tennis wizard around W.G.C.
this year, it seems. Tech must be
a wonderful place to be able to
turn out such experts . . .
