what counts.
school band students on our cam
pus during that week.
Tentative plans include 55
bands, 13 of which are from Great
er Atlanta. Three days will be re
quired for all the bands to appear
on the campus, with not more than
2,000 students here on any one
day.
In addition to the band festival
there will also be a division for
Glee Clubs, and one for Vocal
and Instrumental solos. For the
elementary students folk games
and dancing will be provided.
CAMPUS SCENES
Now that “Miss Ohio” is back,
Daddy Teal and pad Crowder
have been (heard)' riding in the
moonlight to the tune of a 1953
green Ford.
Wendy C. and Joe S. overheard
calling each other “roommates”...
“There’ll be some changes made”.
(But we’re for you 10 PER CENT)
Choo-Choo was seen cooking his
own meals during Thanksgiving
Holi-Daze. What shall his new
name be, “Gone Gobbler”?
The heating system over at
Adamson is not working proper
ly. Residents of room 211 and 216
have been seen carrying smudge
pots up to their room . . . remem
ber next time, “You can’t take it
with you!”
Wendy C. has been seen with
nichs and scratches on his face.
Did he come back for the second
shave, Eleanor C.?
A common question around the
campus is: What does P.W.W. do
with that blanket in the back of
his car?
Strange music being emitted
from “scraping” room of dining
hall. Is this Christmas music, John
V., Rebecca L., Martha Hart and
Ann C.? Or is it Mrs. Leake tun
ing up?
Grant, Mary Ruth, Harold and
Elaine heard and seen singing
“Change Partners”. This caused so
much confusion, Elaine spilled a
bottle of milk on her and everyone
suddenly had the wrong ring!!!
In Biology class the other day,
Mr. Ward asked Marion Smith,
“What is Bacteria”? She replies
that it is the rear of a cafeteria!!!
P.W.W. asked Don Goodermote
why he is always late to Biology
•every morning. Don said: “Class
starts before I can get here”.
Gene Dempsey reports to get his
“one” letter per week and tells
Joe Parris that the 3 sweetest
words in the human speech aren’t
“I love you” but “Enclosed find
check”. (We agree 100%).
