Miss Moore, a junior maj
oring in biology, is the daugh

is a graduate of Jonesboro High
School. She is a member of the
Women’s Athletic Association,
publicity chairman of Mu Zeta
Alpha, Chieftain of the Sioux
Tribe in intramurals, and intra
mural manager of the W.A.A.
Miss Payton, a senior major
ing in mathematics is the daugh
ter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert G.
Payton of Buchanan. She has
served as president of the Sum
mer School Student Government
Association, president of Mande
ville Hall, secretary of Mu Zeta
Alpha and secretary-treasurer of
the French Club.
Mr. Robinson, a senior major
ing in chemistry, is the son of
Mr. and Mrs. A. E. Robinson
of Rt. 1, Carrollton. He is a
graduate of Villa Rica High
School. He has served as presi
dent of Mu Zeta Alpha, and his
memberships include the French
Club and the Student Organiza
tions Council.
Mrs. Rollins, a graduate of
Heard County High in Franklin,
is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Lonnie L. Rogers of Roopville.
She is a senior majoring in
, mathematics. She has served as
secretary and president of the
Debate Club and as a secretary
of Mu Zeta Alpha. She won the
Mathematics Award as a fresh
man as well as the Gordon wat
son Award and the Debate
Award. She was in Chieftain Sa
lutes for two years, in the May
Court one year, and queen of
the Sweetheart Dance one year.
Miss Smith, a senior majoring
in elementary education, is the
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. D. R.
Smith of Sanford, Florida. She
attended Southwest High in At
lanta. She has served as vice
president and secretary of the
Women’s Athletic Associaton as
chieftain of the Sioux tribe in
that organization, as women’s
sports editor of the student news-

in English, is the son of Mr.
and Mrs. Chester Smith of Jack
son, Ga. He is a graduate of
Monticello High. He has served

Senior class, and as a member
of the Student National Educa
tion Association, Alpha Theta,
and the Student Organizations
Council. He has tnpeared in
three of the college ptatys, in one
May Day performance, was se
lected for Chieftain Salutes one
year, and is beauty review di
rector and senior class editor of
the college yearbook.
Miss Vickery, a senior major
ing in education, is the daughter
of Mr. and Mrs. J. L Vickery of
Senoia. She is editor of the Chief
tain, co'lege yearbook, and has
served in the Student Organiza
tions Counci, the Chieftain
court, and the Student Govern
ment Association and as a stu
dent counselor.
Miss Walker, a junior major
ing in biology, is vice president
and missions chairman of the
Baptist Student Union, publicity
chairman of Mu Zeta Alpha, and
a member of the college choir.
She is the daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. T. Herbert Walker of Car
rollton.
Miss Watts, a senior majoring
in elementary education, is the
daughter of Dr. and Mrs. J. W.
Watts of Bowdon. She formerly
attended Louisiana State Uni
versity, where she was a mem
ber of Pi Beta Phi sorority, the
Canterbury Club, and the Stu
dent Government Association
Committee on international rela
tions. She was also Panhellenic
delegate of her sorority. At West
Georgis she was president of the
Canterbury Club, and *a mem
ber of the Student National Ed
ucation Association, Student Or
ganizations Council, the student
newspaper staff, and a
member of the May Court.
Mr. Whitney, a senior major
ing in history, is the son.of Mr.
and Mrs. Harry F. Whtiney of
Marietta. He has served as vice
president of the Student Govern
ment Association, president of
his sophomore and junior clas
ses, president of the Student Or
ganizations Council, dormitory
counselor, member of the choir,
Alpha Theta, Circle K, and the
Canterbury Club. He was in
Chieftain Salutes, and has ap
peared in three of the college
plays, receiving the Best Actor
of the Year award for his role
in “Harvey.” He was voted Mr.
Congeniality of the choir in
1960. and won the Ugly Man
contest in 1960.
Miss Wortham, a senior major
ing in elementary education, is

has served as publicity chair
man of the Baptist Student Un
ion and has held membership in
the choir, the Voluntary Relig
