inoperable, and the meters soon
filled up to capacity with change

meters are on Brumbelow.
In a separate incident, a
student has reportedly been
apprehended for using “slugs” in

Described by the students who

THE WEST GEORGIAN
TRAFFIC SURVEY CONDUCTED
“May I ask your destination, please?” This was the question that was asked of every
car leaving the West Georgia campus last week during the traffic survey, conducted by
the State Highway Department. The Survey was to gather information concerning the
patterns of traffic flow by college students and was to aid in planning for future road and
street routes in Carrollton.

Vehicles operated on campus
during final exam week will not
have to be registered with the
college police, according to
Police Chief D. H. Johnson. The
announcement is a result of the
suspension of Section D sub
paragraph 1 and 2 of the West
Georgia College Traffic Code for
the period of Dec. 6 through Dec.
10.
According to Johnson, this will
permit students with
unregistered cars, especially
freshmen to operate their
vehicles on campus for loading
and unloading purposes and to
commute to and from the campus
for finals. Johnson emphasized
that all other traffic rules would
be enforced during the week of
finals.
