Students will be required to have all books returned
to the library by closing August 10. Books may be
taken out during the break for periods of two weeks at
a time.
The West Georgia bookstore will also remain in
operation during the vacation, keeping the same hours
that it has kept during the regular quarter. Those
hours are from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through
Friday,
The food services complex will be closed for the
garter with the completion of the noon meal on
August 16, aadn and will remain closed until Sunday,
September 16. The Student Health Center will remain
closed for the break beginning with the final day of
class, August 13.
The student center union lobby will close August 17
and reopen September 18. The building itself will
remain open and the snack bar will remain open until
August 27. It will reopen for fall quarter beginning
Labor Day.
Summer quarter classes terminate on August 10,
with exams ending August 16.

The Health and Physical Education building will
remain open during the week of final examinations for
student’s use and equipment check-outs, but will be
closed between August 16 and fall registration, and
will be reopened for student use on September 17, the
first day of classes for fall quarter.
The West Georgia College library will remain open
during the four week vacation from classes. During
exams the library will remain open from 8 a.m. until
11 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday
and from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Friday. Saturday the
building will be closed. Sunday the library will open
from 2 to 11 p.m.

MILLION DOLLAR TOUR
The W’est Georgia delegation to the “Am
bassadors of Friendship” summer tour to
Romania is comprised of 24 WGC singers. They

GRADUATION
Graduating seniors can pick up
their caps and gowns in the
bookstore.
Practice will be held Friday,
August 10 at 4 p.m. in the Health
and Physical Education building.
Commencement exercises will
take place Sunday, August 12 at 9
a.m. in the HPE building.
FALL QUARTER REGISTRATION
The fall quarter bulletin will be available mid-August. Students
must come by the registrar’s office to get a copy. It will not be mailed
to anyone.
Students who have not already done so, need to fill out a card in the
registrar’s office to assure a time card. They will be mailed before
September 19.
Registration will be held for first quarter freshmen and graduate
students on Tuesday, September 18. All other students will register
Wednesday, September 19.
