Aikens responds to the "fascist Republicans"

Some people say we
are socialist, but I say we
are patriotic Americans.
I am an American,
a Christian, a supporter
of free enterprise, a
Georgian and I am a
Progressive Democrat.
The Republican
Party is the one that is
practicing a dictating,
fascistic and invasive
government and not the
Democrats.
The Republican Party
has passed legislation
that limits free speech
under the Patriot Act and
various other bills.
This bill is the single
greatest threat to the
Bill of Rights, and the
Congress passed it in a
quick, secretive bipartisan
manner , with Democrats
supporting, for fear of
being called terrorists or
unpatriotic by the then
popular President.
We weren’t allowed
time to even read the
bill and we are now the
ones fighting to defeat
this dangerous bill.
The Republicans (John
Ashcroft to be particular)
even went as far to call
this large threat the Patriot
Act, what is patriotic
about taking away civil
liberties and designating
“Free Speech Zones”?
The Republican
Party has tried to force
the Christian agenda on
the American people and
their government. There
are several examples,
such as the Faith Based
Initiatives here in
Georgia.
The Christian
Coalition has pushed
the GOP away from
their core values of
limited government and
individual responsibility
while trying to establish
the United States as a
Christian nation.
Democrats are now
the ones fighting for
personal freedoms and
individual responsibility.

we believe your property
is your property, you have
the right to choose your
own religion and that it is
your right to live as free
from government control
as possible.
I am a practicing
Christian and a
member of the Georgia
Democratic Party, and 1
say to anyone trying to
call me a hypocrite that
the Bible in Psalms does
say “Blessed is he that
considereth the poor: the
LORD will deliver him in
time of trouble.”
It is clear that under
the Bush Administration,
25% of children now live
in poverty, so tell me who
is doing the right thing, I
think you will agree that
the Democratic Party is.
The GOP has cut
education, student
loans and healthcare for
children and seniors, yet
gives themselves pay
raises and more money
for def ense.
The Republican
Party consistently
puts their next million
or corporate interest
above the interest of the
American people, but still
consider themselves to be
the Patriotic members of
society.
Republicans are
taking food out of the
mouth of children and
putting the elderly out
in the streets with their
immoral budget cuts, but
still see that they deserve a
$3,0()0/year pay increase.
Doesn’t this sound like a
dictatorship?
Where is America
the land of the free? What
happened to freedom
and equality and people
actually running their
own government?
Democrats fought
for education, a cleaner
environment, privacy,
civil liberties and rights.
We will continue
to do so as long as the
American people keep
casting their votes for us.
This President has
the lowest approval
ratings of any President
in a long time, and
several county and city
governments are even
passing resolutions to
their state legislatures to
call for the impeachment
of George W. Bush.
1 personally, not
as a Democrat, support
impeachment with
everything from Katrina
to the wiretapping
scandal.
I do not think there is
a single reason why this
president should still be
in office.
With that being
said, 78% of Americans
support impeachment if the
president lied about reasons
to go to war, and I think that
this is a strong indication
that the Democrats are here
to stay.
Lets not even mention
the races across the
country that Democrats
are taking mostly in
heavily Republican areas.
We are going to
get our seats back and
show America what real
leadership is about.
alfe ifleat (fumryiatt
Will Duncan, I
dare you charge the
Democratic Party as
socialist when your party
is as close to a fascist
system of government as
they come, and I am not
even a radical.
We believe in
minority rights, personal
freedom, progressive
programs and a
democracy controlled by
the people, not special
interests or the Christian
church.
This country cannot
afford any more years of
Republican leadership.
We are going to be
paying for years of their
leadership as it is, I do
not think we can afford
any more.
With everything
being said. 1 urge
everyone reading this
to go to the polls this
November, and cast your
vote for progressive
Democratic candidates
with that plans to move
this county forward in the
right direction.
