Wolves #5 seed in GSC tour
nament, win on Senior Night

The season has
been up and down for
West Georgia Men's
Basketball team, but
hard work and dedication
has paid off. An 84-80
overtime victory against
North Alabama secured
them their 13th straight
appearance in the Gulf
Southern Conference
Tournament.
Playing on
Senior Night. the
Wolves finished the
regular season with a
convincing 106-82 win
over Allen University
on last Saturday. Both
teams started the game
off slow, but Henrick
Foster led the charge as
the Wolves comfortably
took a 49-27 lead going
into halftime.
The Wolves stepped
it up in the second half
and continued to take
advantage of their speed
and size to increase the
lead. Coach Ed Murphy
eventually cleared his
bench as the game was

facing Ouachita
Baptist. The
tournament will
be played in
Southaven, MS at
the Desoto Civic
Center.
