We have made it through my first year as a columnist, and my first semester as the News Editor. I say “we” because without you the reader, there would be no column, no paper. So thank you. To those people I say - Thank goodness. That means I have met my goal. I am a writer. Simple as that. 1 am not a journalist; 1 never sought to be a journalist. I am quite capable of handling “hard hitting news” I just don’t like it. I am also no Lewis Grizzard; although that is something 1 would love to be. Maybe someday I will attain that goal. This year has been a true growing experience for me.
