Q: When you were a student, what challenges do you remember facing and overcoming? A: It was a tough time. I went in as an undergraduate student in electrical engineering; it was a very rigorous and competitive program. Most of the other students were better prepared to handle it than I was, so I had to struggle. It was a 5-year lock-step program, and this is after a 2-year arts and sciences program, so it was a full 7-year program, and not because I was goofing off or anything, this was a full program.
