NEW STATIONWAGON — Father Patrick O’Brien last week blessed
a new Caprice Classic stationwagon purchased by St. Mary’s Home,
Savannah. The new car — replacing a 1972 model which had covered
many miles in the service of the Home — was made possible by a grant
from St. Mary’s Home Guild. Funds were collected by members and
sponsors, including memorial gifts throughout the Diocese and pro
ceeds from a Fall benefit. 36 dependent children currently live at St.
Mary’s Home, which is run by the Sisters of Mercy.
