Christ the King Church, Hamilton,
announces a change in the Sunday
Mass schedule. Beginning April 11,
the only Sunday Mass will be cele
brated at 6:00 p.m., until further
notice. The Saturday evening Mass
will remain at 6:00 p.m.
Spring Festival
The Annual Spring Festival at Saint
Frances Cabrini Church, 11500 Mid-
dleground Rd., Savannah, will be held
on Saturday, April 17 from 11:00
a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Enjoy the BBQ
chicken dinner, plant sale, silent auc
tion, books in bargains market, and
the “Critters Lady” at 2:00 p.m., the
Irish Dancers of Savannah at 4:00
p.m., games and crafts for the whole
family in the Cabrini Play House, plus
many other activities and demonstra
tions, Eat in or use the convenient
drive-thru take out service.

Annual Chicken Supper
The Church of the Most Blessed
Sacrament, Savannah, will hold its
annual Chicken Supper, Bazaar, and
Carnival on, Saturday, April 24 from
11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in the school
gym. There will be crafts, games and
rides for everyone. The menu: 1/2
fried chicken, green beans, potato
salad, and roll. Dinners are $5.00 each
and free delivery is available on
orders of 10 or more dinners. One
adult ticket will serve two children.
Blessed Sacrament is located on the
corner of Victory Drive and Waters
Avenue.

Diocesan Council of Catholic Women
The Sixtieth Savannah Diocesan Annual Convention
The Savannah Diocesan Council of Catholic
Women will hold its sixtieth annual convention
April 23-25, in Statesboro.
The highlights are as follows:
• “Living Healthier and Happier” by Leon Smith,
M.D., Valdosta.
• “Women and Legislation. We can make a Differ
ence”, a workshop conducted by Mrs. Harriet Con
don, the Province Director of the Atlanta, and Miss
Heather Arling, who was awarded the Outstanding
Teaching Assistant Award at UGA and is nearing a
Master of Public Administration degree.

• International/Church Commission Workshop, by
Sister Cecelia Ridge, MFIC, of Albany.
• Nathan Dallas, Arlington, who is a freshman at
Dartmon College, where he teaches a bible study
group, will present “Prayer and Commitment to
God”.
• Saturday Evening Banquet “Making a Differ
ence—It’s Easy as ABC-123” with keynote speaker
J. Brian Bergermon of Warner Robins, who is the
founder and president of Dream It, a company
formed to rekindle the American spirit to dream. He
is also currently the vice president and general man
ager of Bosch Oldsmobile-Buick-GMC-Isuzu in
Valdosta.
• Sunday Brunch with Bishop J. Kevin Boland.
Cheatham Hodges, Jr. will bring the latest informa
tion on the Georgia Legislature.
