Two of these have gone over 200% of their targets: Cathedral of Saint John the Baptist, Savannah—264%; and Saint Boniface, Springfield— 207%. While the overall participa tion is lower than in previous years, four parishes have had exceptional parishioner partic ipation: Saint Augustine, Thomasville—44%; Saint Bernadette, Millen—45.8%; Saint Francis of Assisi, Folkston—51.7%; and Our Lady of the Assumption, Sy lvania—5 8.7%. The average gift is $222, the highest ever in the DDA’s his tory. Pledges continue to come in, according to Pat Signs, who directs the DDA. She is opti mistic that the goal of $1.3 million will be reached within the next two weeks.
