The Southern Cross, Page 6 Aroemd A® Da©e®se Over 500 Gather at Cross Thursday, May 4, 2000 The Hispanic youth of Our Divine Saviour Parish, Tifton, presented a Living Way of the Cross as part of a Spanish Good Friday service. The suffering of so many of their fellow Mexicans, plus their own hard work and long hours in the fields, make the experience of Jesus' Cross very real and alive for them. They are waiting with hope to taste a little more the joy of his victory in their daily lives. Columbus scouts visit Savannah Our Lady of Lourdes Parish, Port Wentworth Service prepares for Confirmation Members of Junior Girl Scout Troop 210, Columbus Deanery, traveled to Savannah over the Saint Patrick's Day holiday for a weekend packed with fun-filled activities. After the parade, the scouts toured the Juliette Gordon Low birthplace and had lunch with Bishop Boland (above). The troop presented the bishop Boland with a $100 check for the Cathedral Endowment Fund, profits from their cookie sales.
