the regulations also foresee times
when this may not happen. If at a
Mass, there is insufficient
Eucharistic bread, reception of
Eucharistic wine alone is allowed.
In the case of persons with Celia-
Sprue disease, they should dis
close the situation to their pastor
so that he can make provision for
them to receive from the
Eucharistic wine even when the
cup is not being offered to the
other Mass participants. Because
Eucharistic sharing is essential to
our community, we must work to
be certain that all who are in good
standing have access to this sacra
mental gift.
