Mock Presidential Debates
Right: Several students in the Academy’s Government class, taught by Mr. Randy Davis (back row right) and assisted by
Mrs. Sandra Tate, Debate advisor (left), presented a mock Presidential debate to the student body. From a panel of stu
dents the “candidates” responded to questions from all the major issues of this election. Also, as part of the education
process, members of the Government class presented the Presidential candidates' views during morning TV announce
ments. The process concludes with all students voting during a school-wide election November 7. Student participants in
