Art Extravaganza
Saint Mary’s Home’s Annual Art Extravaganza
will be held at the DeSoto Hilton Hotel in Savannah
on April 22 at 7:00 p.m. A limited number of tick
ets is on sale for $125.00 (includes dessert and cof
fee and a piece of artwork of the ticket holder’s
choice). From 7:00-8:00 p.m. ticket holders will
view the artwork, and at 8:00 p.m. numbered tick
ets will be drawn at random. The owner of the first
ticket drawn will have first choice of anything in
the show. And so it will go until the last ticket is
drawn. Two people may attend with one ticket, but
each ticket will be redeemed for only one piece of
art. There will be a silent auction for smaller items.

Retrouvaille
Retrouvaille (Rediscovery) is a program desig
ned to provide help and support to married couples
who are experiencing difficulties, brokenness or
loneliness. Retrouvaille is a program of the Catho
lic Church but is open to couples of other faiths as
well. The next weekend is scheduled for May 4-6.

turing Jim Burnham from San Juan Seminars (fea
tured in Christian Fatherhood by Stephen
Wood), Dr. Mary Kay Clark, director of Seton

Catholic homeschooling is planned for May 18,
from 5:30 until 9:30 p.m. and May 19 from 8:00
a.m. until 4:00 p.m. at Saint Catherine of Siena

Survival school
Survival School, “a Vision of Ministry in the
Church of Today,” is designed for those who are
entrusted with responsibility for the management
of church-related programs staffed predominantly
with volunteers. The workshop, presented by the
Phoenix Diocesan Vicariate for Christian Forma
tion, will be held August 5-10 at Marywood Re
treat and Conference Center, Jacksonville, Florida.
Coordinators of religious education, youth ministry
or liturgy, as well as pastors and heads of parish
organizations or ministries are welcome. The
workshop begins on Sunday at 3:00 p.m. and clos
es on Friday by 3:30 p.m. Cost: $534.00 (private
room), $479.00 (double), $330.00 (commuter, in
cludes lunch). Deadline: July 1. Non-refundable
deposit: $50.00.
