A Night to Remember

Benedictine Military School in Savannah is
hosting its 9th annual auction on May 12, at 6:00
p.m. Featured are both silent and live auctions
highlighting weekend trips, front row seating at
Benedictine’s graduation, jewelry, sports packages,
cruises, artwork, furniture and more. Hors d’oeu-
vres and wine follow the live auction, and there
will be an open bar. Tickets are $25. Seating is
limited.

Theology Seminar
The Savannah Deanery Theology Seminar will
be held on May 18-19 at Saint James Parish, 8412
Whitfield Avenue. The speaker is John O’Dono-
hue, PhD, an Irish poet, author and Catholic schol
ar whose books on Celtic spirituality are intema-
tional bestsellers.

Silver Jubilee
Father Douglas K. Clark, Editor of The Sou
thern Cross, will celebrate a Mass of Thanksgiving
for 25 years of priestly ministry at the Cathedral of
Saint John the Baptist, Savannah, on June 4 at
7:00 p.m. A reception will follow at Knights of
Columbus Council 631, 3 W. Liberty Street. All
are invited.
Benedictine Sports Camp
Benedictine Military School is holding its An
nual Sports Camp for three separate weeks starting
on June 4, June 11 and June 18 from 9:00 a.m. -
12:00 p.m. Instruction will be given by the Bene
dictine coaching staff; films and videos will also
be available. Seven separate camps will be held:
two football sessions for boys, boys’ and girls’

basketball, boys’ baseball and girls’ softball, and
soccer. Cost for pre-registration is $45/1 week,
$80/2 weeks, $110/3 weeks. Fliers will be made
available to parishes and schools soon.

Natural Family Planning
Training seminars for potential natural family
planning practitioners will be offered at Divine Re
deemer Church in Hanahan, SC, during the week
ends of June 23-24, and July 28-29. These classes
prepare teachers for instructing using the sympto-
thermal model of methodology. The seminars are
an introductory and integral part of becoming a
certified natural family planning practitioner.
