Many marriages have been saved because one partner chose to be humble rather than rush to demand their rights in a divorce court. Many people’s lives are saved at surgeries done by gifted doctors, with the necessary help of many humble and unrecognized assistants. Many distinguished writers and speakers are greatly enabled by their secretaries and editors. God’s greatest initiative was to share his only-begotten Son with the human race as light and strength, our Way, Truth and Life. But this great divine initiative got underway with the help of many humble servants whom the hum ble Jesus would exalt as the first in his Kingdom.
