4 THE PANTHER More Than Ninety-Five Seniors Slated to Receive Degrees Willie Ruth McMullen and Mary L. Long top honor students One hundred and twenty-eight sen iors, the largest in the history of Clark College, are slated to receive bachelor’s degrees at the eightieth commencement exercises, June f) at 10:30 a.m. The seniors come from as far east as New York, as far west as Detroit, and from Monrovia, Li beria, Africa. Commencement events begin Sun day, May 28. when Dr. William Stuart Nelson of Howard Univer sity, Washington, I). C., delivers the keynote address at the annual Candle light Service, sponsored by the De partment of Home Economics. On Saturday, June 3 at 10:00 a.m., the Board of Directors of the Na tional Alumni Association will meet, followed by a business meeting at 2:00 p.m.. and the Alumni Dinner at eight o’clock. The Baccalaureate Services will take place on Sunday, June 4 at 5:30 p.m., while the exercises of commencement will be held at 10:30 a.m.. June 6. Senior Class Day Exercises are scheduled for Monday. June 5 at 11:00 a.m.. in Davage Auditorium. President and Mrs. Brawlev will honor Doctor and Mrs. M. S. Davage, the Graduating Classes, Alumni.
