It raised the cost of an edu cation which I already couldn’t afford and food it so high that I have to resort to other means to keep my refrigerator full. Phyllis Oliver, 19, senior, Drama. It has affected me in every way. Food, rent, you name it I need it. I can’t afford to buy anything. I guess I’ll have to get three or four jobs to survive. Herbert Lewis, 21, Senior, Economics “It has decreased my purchasing power. As a student, I didn’t have nothing from jump street. I’ve had to re budget myself. I’ve had to give up some things.” Beverly Myers, 20, junior, Bus. Adm. I can’t afford to wash clothes. I can’t get any money from home because they can’t afford to send any so I’m just here squeezing pennies.
