The theatre understands that after tuition, books, and board there is hardly any money leftfor anything else. Therefore, the Alliance is offering the student rush policy. One half hour before curtain any student desiring a ticket can get one for $4.00, providing there are seats available. If you want to be on the safe side, it provides guaranteed reserved seats to all six of their productions for $13.74. And guess what? These tickets are for section A. The line-up for the season is as follows: A History of The American Film by Christopher Durang, October 15 - November 9. It is a stage version of a Hollywood musical that is a wild, hilarious take off on American films. It starts from the silent era and ends with Busby Berlely extravaganza. The King and I by Rodger and Hammerstein, November 26 - December 21. An all - time American musical featuring such songs as “I Whistle A Happy Tune”, “Shall We Dance” and "Getting To Know You.” On Golden Pond by Ernest Thompson, January 7 - February 1. A broadway hit comedy about an old couple during a summer, with an environment that is less than peaceful. Still Pending - February 11 - March 8. Negotiations are being made to get another Broadway offering. Sly Fox by Larry Gelbart. March 18 - April 12. An outrageous humor that really brings "Volphone” up to date. Renamed Foxwell J. Sly, the show is the same. Antony and Cleopatra by William Shakespeare, April 22 - May 17. A sensuous tragedy that is about the downfall of a great warrior. It stars Jane Alexander. Student subscriptions are still available for weekday evenings and weekend matinees.
