The Southern Israelite Page 9 Mrs. Dave Rosenblum and little son Joel Warren of Butler, Pa., are visit ing their mother, Mrs. Joel Bakritzy. Mr. Harry Wengrow was host to a party of four at a mid-night lamp party at the Henry Grady Hotel on the evening of March 19th. Miss Evelyn Rosenberg was hostess to a group of members of the younger social set at a dance at her home on Oakdale Road on the evening of March 9th. The young people invited included the Misses Muriel Ullman, Mildred Cohen, Ethel Smullman, Syl via Miles, Rose Fannie Berman, Edith Epstein, Rosalie Marks, and Lucile Baum, the Messrs. Bill Clarke, Ralph Rosenbaum, Marcus Haas, Si mon Selig, Herbert Rosenberg, Bob Meyers, Alvin Berman, Ben Strauss, Bill Elias, Alan Jacobson, Alan Mar cus, Philips Epstein and Ed Vajada. Hadassah at the Ansley Hotel Roof, on the evening of March 19th. The affair was a marked success due to the untiring efforts of the Misses Polly Gershon and Sara Shuman and their most capable committee. Many beautiful table prizes and consolation prizes were distributed during the evening. Among the college belles spending Easter vacation at home are Misses Carol Hess, Aline Fox, Lucile Apfel- baum, Ernestine Hirsch, Dorothy Se lig, Marjorie Cerf and Dorothy Slager. Mr. Sidney Saks of Covington, Ga. spent Sunday with Mr. Dave Shuman at his home on Angier Place. One of the most delightful social events of the season was the bridge given by the Atlanta Chapter Junior Miss Hettie Ratchesky, of Boston, Mass., has returned home after a visit to Mrs. Norman Elsas and Mrs. Leonard Hass. Mrs. Walter Rich and Miss Bee Rich have returned from the Augusta horse-show, where the latter captured one of the much coveted prizes.
